St. David’s Church is a diverse and eclectic group of people who seek God in body, mind and spirit. We believe that the knowledge and love of God brings peace and understanding to all who are searching for meaning in their lives. Some of us are “cradle” Episcopalians while still others of us come from many different denominations and faith traditions. It is in these differences that we find a place of worship where everyone feels at home.
“A Welcoming, Loving Community Centered in Christ”
We welcome those who come from many different experiences. People from both Catholic and Protestant traditions often find they are “at home” in the Episcopal Church. Our worship services, drawn from the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer, include a sermon and the lectionary (Bible lessons) for the day. The service incorporates symbols and traditions from both Catholic and Protestant practices. Like most services in the Episcopal Church, the central act of the service is the Eucharist, or Holy Communion, in which all people are invited to participate in whatever way is comfortable for them.
